I had always had dreams and aspirations of becoming a doctor. I always understood that I enjoyed health & wellness and taking care of others. I soon discovered that being a doctor was an interest and not a passion for me. One year while on vacation, I met someone who was an esthetician. When she told me what she does, I knew instantly that’s what I wanted to do. I STILL can’t believe I get paid to do what I do. I like to say that I am a facial fitness specialist dedicated to providing optimal personalized service surpassing client expectations and providing high-performance, results-oriented skin and body care for all skin types. I injured myself in high school track, ended up with sciatica at 18 years old and was helped by a coach of mine who was also a massage therapist. But I was already set to go to college so I kinda forgot about it for four years. Then, in my last year of college, l had the opportunity to teach anatomy and physiology with cadavers and I was reminded of my interest in massage, graduated college and went to massage school!

HOW DID YOU GET IN TO WHAT YOU DO?
Always loved skin care and make-up…my Mom remembers me putting make-up on my “big-head Barbie” for hours over and over when I was little until her painted eyes and lips came off. I worked in outside sales and management for most of my early career but never really loved it. My father died a few years back and I realized that life is just too short to do something you don’t absolutely love. With the help and support of my wonderful family I quit my job, went to Esthetic school full-time, and became an Esthetician 5 years ago. Every day I wake up knowing I am doing what I love and am where I belong, and am thankful to be working with such a great team.

Attending trade shows and education classes opened my eyes to a whole new world. I became inspired by the creative talent, success driven dedication and the larger than life personalities that make this industry what it is.
