Our master stylists have many years of experience in the hair design industry and have met all of the above requirements. They are required to mentor fellow stylists and designers while exhibiting the qualities of an ideal team leader. Master Stylists have editorial and fashion event experience.

MAKE-UP APPLICATION
Chakras Mineral Make-Up is allergy-free, and oil-free and designed to give you a beautiful, weightless glow. Our make-up contains vitamins A, C, E, a hint of Lavender for its antiseptic and antiviral qualities, and a natural SPF of 22 for sun protection. The vitamins and minerals are excellent for acne or rosacea and sensitive or aging skin.

How did you get in to what you do?
My first career: an apparel designer. That was the foundation for my pattern making, cutting, dyeing, colour theory, finishing and working with natural fibers.

My parents both love and have been involved with theater and shared this passion with me. I was drawn to what went on behind the curtain, because that is where the real action is. I began studying hair for the stage. The rest is history. So, thanks Mom and Dad!

I am ALWAYS getting compliments on my curly hair. I was frustrated with my desk job, then one day it smacked me in the face, “I might be great at doing hair!” Once I started looking into it, the doors opened and it ALL worked out!

I started with photojournalism…I ended up getting really burned out. Being that I wanted to stay on a creative path, I turned to my interest in hair styling along with fashion. Not only is it a creative, fun, and challenging field—I love being able to help people feel good about themselves and give them confidence.

I would have to say my glasses. I love to have different glasses. The way I see it is that people have 50 pairs of shoes, why can’t I have 6 different pairs of glasses!

I get to meet people from all walks of life that I would not meet in everyday life. We all want to look our best and it is the little things that help with that. Maybe it is how to hold your hair brush so that your hair won’t look like a bell, how to make your curls bounce and be individual, or as simple as changing your part. A little change can go a long way.
